DMI arrests an accused impersonator of Major General in Baghdad

Directorate Military Intelligence (DMI) announced ,on Wednesday, the arrest of an accused impersonator of a senior military officer in the capital Baghdad.

"With an intelligence operation, based on accurate information, the Directorate Military Intelligence was able to arrest an accused impersonator of an Iraqi army officer (Major General) in the capital Baghdad” . A statement by the Directorate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated.

" The accused swindled and defrauded citizens by promoting appointment transactions in state departments in exchange for money, as well as issuing various false identities to a number of departments, appointment transactions, false identities, authorization papers and others”, noting that "the accused will be referred  to the appropriate authorities to receive a fair punishment “the statement  added .
