INSS dismantles a network for forging land parcel documents in Muthanna

Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) announced on Thursday, the dismantling of a network for forging land documents in Muthanna province.
 
 “Based on accurate intelligence information, the detachments of INSS in Muthanna Governorate, and after field follow-up, were able to dismantle a network for forging documents for plotting land and selling it in violation of the law, and this network consists of (4) People, including a woman, found out after their investigation that the main accused was designating plots of land and fraudulent sales with an Iraqi citizen residing outside the country,” INSS stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"The arrest process took place in accordance with judicial approvals, and the defendants were in possession of forged identification documents," The statement added, "the defendants were duly referred to the competent judicial authorities to receive their just punishment in accordance with the law."
