President of the Republic congratulates Iraqis on Victory Day

President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, congratulated Iraqis on Sunday, on the occasion of Victory Day over the terrorist Daesh, recalling the sacrifices of the security forces and the important role of the Supreme Religious Authority in defending the homeland and preserving its dignity.
 
President Rashid said in a post on the X platform, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) “On the anniversary of our victory over Daesh, we recall the ultimate sacrifice made by the Iraqi armed forces, the religious authority's role and all Iraqis who defended our homeland. The blood spilled on the path to liberation calls for unity and continued progress.
