Iraq and Qatar discuss updates in the occupied Palestinian territories

Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani discussed the serious events in the occupied Palestinian territories during a telephone call with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

During the telephone conversation, they stressed the need to halt the escalation and aggressive actions in Gaza, according to a statement by the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of increased regional and international efforts to compel the occupying forces to abide by international laws and conventions, cease their aggressive actions against the Palestinian people, and end their ongoing violations of Palestinian sanctities. They also called for urgent international action to fulfill the just aspirations of the Palestinian people and secure their right to live in dignity on their lands.
