Al-Sahhaf announces setting the end of this month as the date for holding an emergency meeting of the Cooperation Organization on insulting the Holy Qur’an

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf announced today, Wednesday, that the end of this month has been set as the date for holding an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on insulting the Holy Qur’an.
 
Al-Sahhaf told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The emergency meeting at the ministerial level of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held on Monday, corresponding to the 31st of July."
 
He added, "The meeting came after two successive requests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, against the background of the disgraceful act against the Holy Qur'an in the Kingdoms of Sweden and Denmark."
