The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, discussed today, Friday, with his counterpart, the Spanish Minister of Transport, Raquel Sanchez Jimenez, the file of lifting the European air embargo on Iraqi airlines.

The ministry said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, met during his visit to the Kingdom of Spain at the head of a ministerial delegation that included a number of general managers, his counterpart, the Spanish Minister of Transport, Mobility and the Civilization Agenda, Raquel Sanchez Jimenez, at the government headquarters in Barcelona." to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two countries," pointing out that "the meeting, which took place at the government headquarters in Barcelona, ​​was attended by His Excellency the Iraqi Ambassador to the Kingdom, Mr. Salih Al-Tamimi. The statement added, "The meeting also discussed the file of lifting the European air embargo on Iraqi airlines, in addition to discussing ways of cooperation in the fields of maritime transport and ports, and encouraging the entry of Spanish companies to Iraq, as they are globally advanced companies.".
