Yarallah issues directives to south Baghdad military sectors

    Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Abd al-Amir Yarallah, on Tuesday issued directives to the military units in the areas south of Baghdad.

    "Yarallah and the Commander of Baghdad Operations, Lieutenant General Ahmed Salim, arrived at the 17th Infantry Division to inspect military units in areas south of Baghdad," the Iraqi News Agency correspondent said.
     
    "Yarallah stressed the need to raise the level of caution and military readiness to prevent any attempt to destabilize security and stability in areas south of Baghdad," he said.
