The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, attended today, Tuesday Iraqi Air Force's Ababil/1 exercise, demonstrating the exceptional readiness and advanced performance of our heroic pilots.
The Media Office of The Prime Minster said in a statement ,received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA) that," Following the exercise, Al-Sudani received a comprehensive aircraft exhibition briefing, engaged with several officers and Air Force personnel, and was provided updates on work progress and duty execution".
"The exercise witnessed the participation of Rafale fighter jets from the esteemed French Air Force, with the honorable presence of General Stéphane Mille, Chief of Staff of the French Air and Space Force, and his accompanying delegation", the statement added.
The prime minster said “Today, we gather under the great wings of the heroic Iraqi Air Force planes as they execute their remarkable Ababil/1 exercise. This exercise serves as a demonstration of the exceptional preparedness displayed by our pilots, technicians, and all dedicated crew members.”
PM affirmed,” Today's exemplary performance marks a significant stride in our ongoing mission to strengthen and enhance our armed forces, embodying our commitment to enhancing the army's efficiency to unprecedented levels of professionalism and excellence. Today, we witness a groundbreaking milestone as we witness the execution of this exercise in the skies of the new Iraq for the very first time. The participation of our esteemed friends from the French Air Force, bringing their remarkable Rafale planes, serves as an inspiring example for our brothers and friends, urging them to engage in constructive military cooperation for mutual benefit.”
Al-Sudani also continued,"We extend our heartfelt tribute to the courageous pilots who valiantly combat terrorism and their unwavering dedication to protect and defend Iraq".
