Voting for the Speaker of the House ends in the second round

    Our correspondent reported that the second round of voting to elect the Speaker of the House of Representatives has ended with the participation of 269 representatives and the process of counting and sorting the votes has begun.

    In the second round, the two candidates competing were Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, who received 153 votes in the first round, and Salem Al-Issawi, who received 93 votes.
