Security operation launched in Salah al-Din: PMF

The Popular Mobilization Forces PMF announced on Sunday the launch of a security operation in Salah al-Din.
 
A statement by the Popular Mobilization Forces received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "a force from the federal police and the 88th Brigade within the Kirkuk and East Tigris command of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out an operation in the Dhuluiya and Al-Mu'tasim districts in Salah al-Din province in search of wanted persons."
 
The statement explained that "a joint force from the second regiment in the 88th Brigade launched an operation of two axes: the first axis is the Mu'tasim section to search several areas east of Al-Mu'tasim, as many villages were searched, including the villages of Sheikh Mohammed, Albu Zughayer, Al-Kush and the banks of the Rasasi River."

He added, "The second axis included the Dhuluiya section, where a joint duty was carried out with the units of the controlling headquarters in Dhuluiya, and several areas northeast of Dhuluiya were searched, including the entire Khazraj orchards."
