Launching of a large-scale security operation north of Baghdad: PMF

    Popular Mobilization forces (PMF) announced on Tuesday, the launch of a large-scale security operation, west of Tarmiya, to search for the wanted persons and the remnants of ISIS terrorist elements.
     
    A statement by PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a force from the 12th Brigade in PMF, in coordination with the security forces, is launching a large-scale security operation in the areas west of Tarmiyah."
     
    The statement added, "The security operation came to search for the wanted persons and the remnants of ISIS terrorist elements, with the aim of securing the north of the capital, Baghdad."
