Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi, together with Germany international cooperation organization (GICO) and the Deputy Minister of Health of the Federal Republic of Germany, discussed increasing the prospects for joint health cooperation between the two countries.
A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "Al-Hasnawi reviewed the ministry's objectives to implement the priorities of the government program," stressing "the ministry's interest in the transition towards digital electronic governance and cooperation in the transfer of German technology to Iraq in the fields of health and medical devices."
The statement added that "Hasnawi also discussed the issue of managing modern hospitals and training Iraqi medical staff and holding seminars, conferences and scientific seminars to contribute to improving the health services provided to patients and visitors to health institutions."
