Al-Sistani's office: Next Saturday is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr

    The office of the supreme authority, Ali al-Sistani, in Najaf al-Ashraf announced that next Saturday will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr.


    A statement by the office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, "Due to the lack of sighting of the crescent in our region after sunset today, Thursday (29 / the blessed month of Ramadan / 1444 AH), tomorrow, Friday, will be the last day of the holy month, and next Saturday is the day of Eid Al-Fitr, may God restore it." May everyone be well and blessed.”
