The Iraqi Airways General Company announced on Saturday, that it will soon receive a new B787 from Boeing.
"The US Boeing Aircraft Industry Company has completed all the technical aspects of the B787 aircraft with the YI-ATC registration mark, known as the Dreamliner," said the company's general manager, Karim Kadhim Hussein, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "The next step is to send Boeing a notice to Iraqi Airways to set the date for the official receipt flight, which departs from the company's factory in the US to the homeland, to be the first plane to join the national carrier's fleet out of 10 aircraft."
