Oil prices fell about 4%, this evening, Wednesday, after data that contradicted expectations on US inventories.
The price of Brent crude reached $73.71 a barrel, after closing yesterday at $77.45.
Hours ago, US crude oil inventories data came contrary to expectations, recording a huge increase by more than 1.5 million barrels, while expectations were hovering around an increase of 1.188 million barrels, while it recorded a decrease in the week before last by 1.694 million barrels.
