Holy Karbala Police issues directives to secure pilgrimage of the middle of Sha'ban

Holy Karbala Governorate Police Command issued Thursday directives to secure the pilgrimage of the middle of Sha'ban.

A statement by the police command, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "The security sectors of the army, police, security and intelligence services continue their preemptive operations on a large scale inside and outside the holy city, in preparation for receiving pilgrims to Karbala to commemorate the pilgrimage of the blessed middle of Sha'ban."

The police chief, Major General Ahmed Zweni, stressed, according to the statement, "all the joints of the Ministry of Interior operating inside and outside the city center need to raise the sense of security and take the utmost care and caution and deal well with visitors and the people of the city until the entry and exit of the last pilgrim in complete security, safety and peace
