IMN receives congratulations on Iraqi National Television 68th anniversary

    The Iraqi Media Network celebrated Iraq TV's 68th anniversary on Thursday, receiving congratulations from officials and political bloc leaders.
     
    The head of the Wisdom Movement, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We congratulate the Iraqi Media Network, management and staff, on the 68th anniversary of Iraqi National Television , expressing our hope that the first media institution in Iraq will keep up with the global media," adding that "We also hope that the Iraqi Media Network will show the bright image of Iraq, the urban aspects and the achievements made , as well as the need to pay attention and convey the matters of citizens and their needs.

     
    "I am pleased to extend to the mirror of truth and the key to free and purposeful media the highest congratulations and blessings, wishing them strength to assume media responsibility in accordance with lofty principles," stated Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, Minister of Education, in response to the 68th anniversary.  
     
    In turn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Mohammed Ali Tamim, and Minister of Water Resources, Aoun Diab Abdullah, congratulated the Iraqi Media Network on "the occasion of the sixty-eighth anniversary of the founding of Iraqi National Television."

     
    For his part, Hayyan Abdul Ghani, the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, congratulated the management of the Iraqi Media Network via cable and highlighted the outstanding work that Iraqia TV employees have done in covering events, news, and local gatherings over the course of the country's lengthy history. The cable was attached to a bouquet of flowers.
     
     In addition to congratulating Karim Hammadi, the head of the Iraqi Media Network, on the institution's 68th anniversary of founding, Rakan Saeed Al-Jubouri, the governor of Kirkuk, confirmed that "the national media is working to consolidate social cohesion, support the heroic security forces and strengthen state institutions."
