Government congratulations 103rd Anniversary of Iraqi Army

    Congratulations came from ministers and government officials on Saturday, on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of founding of the Iraqi army.
     
    The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to our proud Iraqi army in all its ranks, commanders, officers and ranks, on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the protectors of the homeland.”
     
    Al-Shammari added: “As we celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the heroic Iraqi army, we review, over the years of its long life, the greatest heroism that preserved Iraq’s unity and the freedom of its people.”
     
    He stressed that "the Iraqi army will remain strong, independent, free Iraq in which everyone enjoys security, safety and stability," concluding by saying: "May God protect Iraq, with its army and security forces, and may every year our army be the pride of our country with a thousand blessings."
     
    Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi also offered congratulations to the armed forces on the anniversary of the founding of the army.
     
    Al-Hasnawi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to the sons of our heroic armed forces in all their ranks, to our popular mobilization, and to all the sons of the Iraqi people on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the valiant Iraqi army, praying to God Almighty to keep us safe the blessing of victory, security and safety in a united and powerful Iraq.”
     
    For his part, the Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “To our army on the anniversary of your 103rd National Day, in which we recall situations full of heroism and achievements.”
     
    Al-Aboudi added: “we salute all types of army forces on this occasion.”
     
    For his part, the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis al-Jubouri, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “On January 6, the story of victory began, and Iraq marked the first steps of glory with the establishment of our proud Iraqi army, the protectors of the homeland from north to south.”
     
    Al-Jubouri continued: “I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the 103rd, asking the Almighty Lord to preserve the country, its people and its land, and to have mercy on the righteous martyrs.”
     
    The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “On this honorable day, the sixth of January, we remember with her the blessed victories achieved by our armed forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces as they fought a battle against terrorism and the forces in defense of the land, dignity of Iraqi people.”
     
    Al-Asadi added: “On this occasion, we also remember the leaders of Al-Nasr, with the anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army, and we do not forget the heroics of Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, who fought for this nation.”
     
    In turn, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naeem Al-Ghazi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We extend our warmest congratulations and sincere blessings to all members of the armed forces, officers and ranks, on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the heroic Iraqi army.”
     
    Al-Ghazi added: “On this occasion, we remember the heroic epics recorded by all types of the Iraqi army, in confronting and defeating terrorist gangs and sacrificing themselves in defense of the homeland’s soil,” concluding: “Mercy for the martyrs of the brave Iraqi army and the martyrs of Iraq, and a full recovery for the injured.”
     
      Meanwhile, the Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kadhim, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “On the 103rd anniversary of its founding, we extended our warmest congratulations and blessings to the valiant Iraqi army.
     
    Kazem continued: “On this sixth day of January every year, we recall with, pride memory of our armed forces, their great heroism and the sacrifices of the martyrs. “
