Oil Ministry : Revenues of last February reached to more than 7 billion dollars

    Ministry of Oil announced Wednesday that revenues for the month of February reached to more than $7 billion.

     The ministry said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the amount of crude oil exports for the month of February amounted to (92) million (255) thousand and (610) barrels, with revenues reaching to (7.081) billion dollars."

     The Ministry added, "The total quantities exported from crude oil from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq reached to (89) million and (140) thousand and (448) barrels, while from the fields of Kirkuk through the port of Ceyhan, the exported quantities reached to (2) million and (834).  thousand and 393 barrels,” explaining that “the average of daily quantities exported amounted to (3) million and (295) thousand barrels per day.”

     It also confirmed that "the average price of one barrel amounted to more than (76.75) dollars."

     It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Oil, through its belief in informing the people of export operations and the revenues generated from it, has taken this monthly procedure.
