Security Media Cell SMC announced Saturday the arrest of six wanted persons , including two women, in separate parts of the country.
A statement by SMC, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA in the Ministry of Interior managed to arrest a gang consisting of three suspects, including two women who trade in human organs in Anbar Governorate."
It added that "the agency's detachments were able to arrest two accused currency speculators and seized an amount of $79,000 in their possession that they intended to smuggle in Kirkuk province."
It also pointed out that "the detachments arrested an accused person in the holy city of Najaf who was trading in antiquities and seized 22 antiquities in his possession while trying to sell them," stressing that "the necessary legal measures will be taken against the them."
