The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA of the Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday arresting five dangerous terrorists in Babil.
FIIA said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "based on accurate intelligence, FIIA's detachments were able, in separate pre-emptive operations, to arrest five terrorists in different areas of Babil province."
It added that "the terrorists are wanted according to the provisions of Article (4/terrorism) for belonging to Daesh terrorist gangs, who confessed through preliminary investigations to belonging to these criminal gangs."
FIIA also pointed out that "the statements of the terrorists were recorded, and legal measures were taken against them."
