PMF: Launching a joint security operation in Al-Hadar

The Popular Mobilization Forces announced on Thursday, the launch of a joint security operation in Al-Hadar.

A statement by PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "A joint security force from the army and the 44th Brigade in the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out today a security operation in Al-Hadar to raid the hideouts and tunnels of the remnants of the terrorist ISIS."

The statement added, "The operation resulted in securing a large area of the desert, and finding hidoutes, motorcycles and weapons in Wadi al-Tharthar, south of Mosul”.

“The current operation resulted in the martyrdom of the fighter Basem Muhammad Al Shuja al-Burki by the explosion of IED,"the statement continued.
