Iraq sends 2 relief planes to Gaziantep

    The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced on Tuesday, the departure of two planes loaded with relief materials to the Turkish city of Gaziantep.
     
    The spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majeed, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that two Iraqi Air Force planes will take off, heading to the Turkish city of Gaziantep," noting that "the two planes carry tons of various relief materials on board."
     
    The two flights are part of an air bridge that the Prime Minister directed to establish to send relief materials to both quake-hit Türkiye and Syria, Majeed reported.
     
    Earlier, Iraq sent a number of relief materials to Syria and Turkey, while the specialized team continues to rescue earthquake victims in Turkey.
