Military Intelligence Directorate arrests 7 terrorists in 5 provinces

The Military Intelligence Directorate announced Thursday the arrest of seven dangerous terrorists in five governorates.

The Directorate said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "With pre-emptive operations and relentless efforts of the (intelligence and security) section and people of the Samarra Operations Command and the seventh, eighth, sixteenth and seventeenth brigades, and in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the brigades of those commands, tight ambushes were set up in Baghdad, Anbar, Kirkuk, Samarra and Nineveh, which resulted in the arrest of (7) terrorists wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 terrorism) in the districts of Hit, Mosul, Samarra, Kirkuk and Dora.

The Directorate confirmed that "they were handed over to the concerned authorities."
