Military Intelligence Directorate announced Thursday arresting 11 terrorists in Salah al-Din, Nineveh, Anbar, Kirkuk, and Maysan.
A statement by the Directorate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that, "Based on accurate intelligence information of the intelligence and security divisions of the Maysan and Salah al-Din Operations Commands and the divisions (the eighth, tenth, and sixteenth), and in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the aforementioned brigades of commands, ambushes were set up in the provinces (Salah al-Din, Nineveh, Anbar, Kirkuk, and Maysan), which resulted in the arrest of (11) terrorists.
It pointed out that "the terrorists were wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 (terrorism) in the districts of Dujail, Al-Shirqat, Al-Majar Al-Kabeer, Al-Hamdaniya, Al-Ramadi and Al-Dibs," stressing that "the terrorists were handed over to the requesting authorities in a legal manner."
