Chief Prosecutor Najm Abdullah Ahmed and the Iranian judicial delegation discussed on Monday, joint files related to judicial cooperation.
The Council stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Chief Prosecutor Najm Abdullah Ahmed, received the Iranian delegation headed by Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights of Iran Kazem Gharibabadi and the accompanying judicial delegation."
The statement added that "a number of common issues related to judicial cooperation between the two countries were discussed."
