A security delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, arrived on Monday, in Diyala province.
Ministry of Defense stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a security delegation headed by the Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, arrived in Diyala province," noting that "the delegation inspected the Diyala Operations Command district."
It added, "The visit also aims to see the progress of the operations that were launched on January 21, and which are still continuing to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs."
