MOD, PMF discuss joint cooperation to eliminate terrorism

Minister of Defense, Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi, and the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh Al-Fayyad, discussed on Thursday, joint cooperation to eliminate terrorism.
 
The Ministry of Defense-MOD- said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi met, today, in his office at the ministry's headquarters, the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh Al-Fayyad.".
 
The statement added, "The head of PMF presented his congratulations to the Minister of Defense on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of founding the Iraqi army," noting that "the joint cooperation between the army and PMF was discussed, to eliminate terrorism and sleeper cells."
