President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid received on Sunday, a message of congratulations from Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
A statement from the Presidency of the Republic stated, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, received today Sunday at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Iraq Uroš Balov," noting that "Ambassador Uroš Balov delivered a congratulatory message from Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to the President of the Republic."
In his message, the Serbian president offered, according to the statement, "his congratulations to the President of the Republic on his election, wishing him success in his work," expressing his "desire to continue strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Serbia and in the interest of the peoples of the two countries."
Meanwhile, President Abdullatif Rashid thanked the Serbian ambassador for his congratulations, wishing him continued success and the Serbian people progress and prosperity.
