Spanish coach Pep Guardiola confirmed, on Friday, that his Norwegian striker Erling Haaland feels "much better", in his quest to return to Manchester City in the English Premier League, Saturday, against his guest Fulham.

Haaland missed the two previous matches of City against Sevilla in the Champions League and Leicester City in the league due to a foot injury and disease.

The lethal Norwegian resumed full training on Thursday, and Guardiola hopes his star will be ready for the match at the Etihad Stadium.

Halland's presence will be a big boost for the defending champion, after he scored 22 goals in 15 games in all competitions since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund during the summer, including 17 in the league.

"The player is much better and we will decide today," Guardiola said. It's a good step, the start of training, but now we have another (share) and we'll see."
