The Popular Mobilization Body announced the arrest of a prominent terrorist in Baghdad.
The Body stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the General Directorate of Security and Discipline (Investigations and Preventive Security) after follow-up and investigation for seven continuous months and obtaining judicial approvals, managed to overthrow one of the most prominent elements of the terrorist organization in Baghdad."
"The terrorist was occupying a security position within the so-called (Nineveh State) Islamic Police, where legal measures were taken against him, in preparation for his handover to the competent authorities."
