Kidnapped Woman Rescued, abductor Arrested in Southern Baghdad

    Baghdad Operations Command-BOC reported on Sunday the rescue of a kidnapped woman and the arrest of her abductor in southern Baghdad.
     
    In a statement, BOC stated that intelligence efforts led to the identification and apprehension of the suspect. A joint operation involving the Federal Police Mechanized Division and the Anti-Crime Office in Dora district, supported by intelligence agencies, successfully located the victim and detained the suspect.
     
    The statement confirmed"The operation followed precise information about a kidnapping, prompting authorities to form a task force. The suspect was found and arrested at his residence in Dora’s Al-Saha neighborhood".
    “He has been handed over to the relevant authorities for legal processing,” the statement further added.
