The routes of the Arbaeen pilgrims are secured, says Basra Ops Commander

Basra Operations Command confirmed on Saturday, that the routes for the Arbaeen pilgrims are secured.

"The security forces secured the walking routes of the Arbaeen pilgrims and the Husseini processions from the outskirts of the province to its north in Qurna and Medina towards the holy Karbala," The commander of Basra operations, Major General Ali Al-Majidi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) .

It is noteworthy that the crowds of pilgrims in Basra and the southern governorates began to walk towards the holy province of Karbala to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage, amid security and service measures along the route leading to the holy Karbala.
