Sayyid Hussein Al-Nouri, representative of the supreme religious authority, Ali Al-Sistani, confirmed during his visit to the mourning council for the martyrs of the Ashura revolution, today, Thursday, that Al-Sistani is very sad and sorry for what happened, indicating that he is not satisfied and condemns this shameful act .
The Sadrist movement's media said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that " Hussein al-Nuri, representative of the supreme religious authority, Ali al-Sistani, read during a visit he made at the head of a high-ranking Hawza delegation to the Central Condolence Council established for the souls of the martyrs of the Ashura revolution in the Fatima al-Zahra Mosque ( Peace be upon her) in Najaf Al-Ashraf, Surat Al-Mubarakah Al-Fatihah, to have mercy on the souls of the martyrs who rose up against injustice and corruption.
He added, " Al-Nuri conveyed condolences, sorrow and sympathy to the supreme religious authority for the martyrs' affliction."
Al-Nouri said, according to the statement: "I convey to you my condolences and the sympathy of His Eminence, the Supreme Leader, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (may his shadow last), as His Eminence is very sad and sorry for what happened."
