Launching a large-scale security operation north of Muqdadiyah, PMF says

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Tuesday, the launch of a large-scale security operation north of Al-Muqdadiya district.

"A force from The Army and Diyala Operations Command of PMF has started a wide search operation north of Muqdadiya district in Diyala, based on accurate intelligence information about the enemy's movements," said The commander of Diyala operations of PMF, Talib al-Moussawi, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Al-Moussawi added that "The operation named (Labeik Ya Hussain), aims to hunt down the enemy and search Diyala River, north of Muqdadiya, to maintain the security of citizens and revive Husseini rituals."
