The Sudanese army announces control over the capital of Al-Jazeera State

The Sudanese army announced, today, Saturday, the restoration of control over the city of (Wad Madani), the capital of Al-Jazeera State in central Sudan.
The spokesman for the Sudanese army stated in a statement that "the Sudanese Armed Forces and the forces supporting them are advancing on all fronts and are working to clean up the pockets of the rebels inside the city."
He continued, "In December 2023, the Rapid Support Forces took control of several cities in Al-Jazeera, including (Wad Madani), the capital of the state."
