president Salih receives Head of Hajj and Umrah Commission

 The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, discussed on Monday, the conditions of Iraqi pilgrims who participated in the pilgrim season for the current year .

The Media Office of the Presidency of the Republic stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "President Saleh, received at the Al-salam Palace in Baghdad, the head of the Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah, Sami Al-Masoudi."

The statement pointed out that "the meeting included talking about the conditions of the Iraqi pilgrims who participated in this year's Hajj season, until the completion of the Hajj rituals and their return to the homeland."

Salih congratulated "Al-Masoudi on the success of the Hajj season and the participation of Iraqi pilgrims in it," praising "the level of organization and the distinguished services provided by the Iraqi Hajj mission to the pilgrims, wishing continued success for the authority's work to serve the Iraqi pilgrims."

For his part, Al-Masoudi praised "the President's follow-up and concern for the conditions of Iraqi pilgrims," and provided an explanation of the services provided to pilgrims from their grouping until the completion of the Hajj rituals."
