The Arab Parliament condemns the Turkish attack on Dohuk Governorate

The Arab Parliament announced Thursday the brutal Turkish attack on Dohuk governorate, stressing that it is a flagrant violation of all international conventions and norms.

 The Arab Parliament stated, in a statement seen by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that it "condemns the brutal Turkish attack on the Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, which resulted in the killing of a number of civilians and the wounding of dozens of others."

 It stressed, "This attack represents a flagrant violation of all international conventions and norms, and a flagrant violation of Iraq's sovereignty and the principles and rules of good neighborliness."

 It stressed its "solidarity and full support for the Republic of Iraq in all the measures it takes to protect its citizens and lands and to defend its sovereignty," calling on Turkey to "stop these hostile acts, respect the sovereignty of the Republic of Iraq over its entire territory, and abide by the principle of good neighbourliness."

 The Arab Parliament expressed its "sincere condolences to the families of the innocent victims, and wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured."
