The management of the Nineveh International Film Festival announced the launch of the first edition of the festival, which will be held in the city of Mosul - the center of Nineveh Governorate in Iraq, during the period from February 5 to 7.
The management called in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Thursday, filmmakers and Arabs to "open the Nineveh International Film Festival, which will be held in Iraq - the city of Mosul, the center of Nineveh Governorate, February 5-6-7."
It added that "participation will be open for feature and short films and animation films."
It pointed out that "the last date for receiving films is January 26."
