The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 17 new cases of cholera and the first death from the disease.
The ministry's spokesman, Saif Al-Badr, told Al-Iraqiya News, and followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the ministry recorded during the past 24 hours 17 new cases of cholera, bringing the total number to 76 cases recorded for this year 2022.".
He added, "The Kirkuk governorate recorded the first death from the disease today."
