The Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) announced on Saturday, the arrest of two employees at the Ministry of Education, accused of leaking the questions of the third Intermediate grade.
INSS said a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Assigned by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, INSS conducted a comprehensive investigation regarding leaking the ministerial questions in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Criminal Evidence of the Ministry of Interior and under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities. "
The statement added “After a series of procedures that included on-site detection, fingerprinting, and interrogation with the employees involved in receiving and distributing questions to reveal the circumstances that accompanied the conduct of the exams, the investigations concluded that (3) employees at the Ministry of Education were convicted, who are directly responsible for leaking the questions, in addition to the suspicion of (2) others and the investigation with them is still ongoing."
In a related issue, "INSS arrested a number of promoters on social media platforms who contributed to circulate and sale of these questions."
