43 Asian nationals captured trying to cross Iraqi borders

The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation (AIFI) announced on Sunday, the arrest of 43 Asian nationals who tried to enter Iraqi territory.

AIFI said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that " The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation  at the Ministry of Interior was able to arrest 43 border crossers of Asian nationality who tried to enter Iraqi territory from one of the neighboring countries illegally through Sulaymaniyah province.

The statement added that " All the necessary legal measures were taken against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (24 / residence)."
