SMC: 5 of the most wanted criminals arrested in Maysan

Security Media Cell announced Sunday the arrest of 5 of the most wanted criminals in Maysan Governorate.

 A statement by the cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "Based on the intelligence effort and accurate field information, the National Security Service detachments in Maysan Governorate, and after obtaining judicial approvals, were able to arrest four of the most wanted persons wanted for the judiciary on various terrorist and criminal charges, including the armed attack on oil corporate buildings , in addition to smuggling, forgery and premeditated murder.

 The statement added, "With another qualitative operation, the same detachments were able, in a tight ambush, to arrest a drug dealer, and seize (2) kilograms of crystal from his possession."

The statement added, "The statements of the accused were fundamentally written down to be referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigation and to receive their just punishment."
