Our national women's futsal team drew with its Palestinian counterpart today, Saturday, at the opening of the Asian Cup qualifiers.

A brief statement by the Football Association - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - stated that "the women's futsal team drew with its Palestinian counterpart with a goal each, at the opening of its journey in the Asian Cup qualifiers held in Thailand."

He added, "Player Taiba Salim scored our team's goal in the match."
The Iraqi women's futsal team plays in Group One in the Asian qualifiers, which includes the teams of Palestine, Lebanon and Bahrain, in addition to Thailand, the host country for the qualifiers.
