One person was killed and at least 24 others, including children, were wounded in a shooting at a car show in Arkansas on Saturday night, the authorities said.
State troopers were dispatched to Dumas, Ark., about 90 miles southeast of Little Rock, around 7:25 p.m., said Bill Sadler, a spokesman for the State Police.
One person was in custody, and the authorities are searching for “others who may have been firing into the crowd of people,” the State Police said in a statement.
The authorities did not immediately release details about the gunman or a possible motive for the shooting.
