Explosive vests, bombs and missiles seized in Anbar and Nineveh

Security Media Cell - SMC announced on Saturday, seizuring four explosive vests, a number of devices and missiles in Anbar and Nineveh governorates.

”With separate operations and accurate intelligence information of the divisions' intelligence divisions (5th - 7th - 20th), which focused on searching for weapons and ammunition of Daesh terrorist gangs in the sectors of their operations in the Anbar and Nineveh governorates, resulted in the seizure of 4 explosive vests, 50 anti-aircraft rounds, 20 explosive devices, 13 different bombs, 7 launchers, 5 detonators, 4 tank rockets, 4 detonation lighters, tens of meters of detonating cables, grenades, and a local rocket,” according to a statement by SMC received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The engineering treatment detachments accompanying the forces removed the materials and detonated it on site and under control, included the statement.
