The Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) revealed today, Friday, its pre-emptive operations in three governorates, while referring to the outcome of its operations within three months.
CTS Spokesman, Sabah Noman, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): The effort and intelligence work continues after the field work was ended, as there were many preemptive operations this year to pursue the terrorist and ISIS remnants, especially in the areas of Kirkuk, Salah al-Din and Diyala."
He added, "CTS carried out 78 Ops this year, which resulted in the killing of 5 terrorists and the arrest of 49, including ISIS leaders."
He stressed that "There is high coordination and cooperation with Kurdistan region in terms of arresting terrorists who were able to fake their IDs,as this coordination led to arrest those criminals and handing them over to the judiciary."
