Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah confirmed Thursday the release of pilgrims detained in Saudi Arabia.
The commission said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "With the commission's follow-up with the concerned authorities and its demand for the speedy release of the detainees, all pilgrims detained today were released."
The Commission called on pilgrims to "adhere to the laws and regulations in force in the Holy Land to avoid problems with the Saudi authorities."
