Najaf Criminal Court: life imprisonment for a drug trafficker

Najaf Criminal Court sentenced a criminal to life imprisonment for the crime of drug trafficking, after capturing him with (6) kilograms of narcotics.
 
Police detachments at Ghammas Junction arrested the criminal after finding (6) kilograms of the narcotic Methamphetamine hidden inside his car, said the Supreme Judicial Council(SJC) in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency ( INA).
 
SJC also added that the ruling against the criminal comes in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 / first of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of 2017.
