Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed on Wednesday, that chaos will not exclude anyone, as everyone will pay the price, while indicating that quick measures are taken to address the repercussions and work to re-establish the security plan to address the violations.

during his meeting with the security services commanders at Maysan province, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Al-Kadhimi said: “We are going through very complex political circumstances, this stage is critical and important, and no one is allowed to exploit these circumstances to spark chaos," noting that "all the forces without exception, the security, the political, and the social forces, move quickly and assume their responsibilities.”

He added, "Chaos is merciless, and everyone will pay the price, we must work together and cooperate to reach the desired results,” threatening the criminals that  they will receive harsh punishment, and no one shall believe that he can rise above the law, or seek to spread chaos without accountability."

he continued, "We took quick measures to address the repercussions, and directed to form Maysan Operations Command, and work to re-establish the security plan to address the violations," stressing "his personal overseeing of the governorate’s security situation from the joint security command day by day, all criminals will be arrested and handed over to the judiciary, no one is above the law, and no one is allowed to violate the state and its institutions.”

Al-Kadhimi also pointed out" We will provide all support to the judiciary in Maysan and to the security services, and all needs in order to establish security and implement the law," calling on "citizens to help the security forces and cooperate with them, and the tribesmen not to allow some to drag them into the behaviors outside the framework of the state".

He explained, "We must pay attention to several things, including exploiting the local political scene, and turning the country into an arena for settling the scores that sometimes go beyond the borders of the country," noting that "Iraq will not be an arena for settling the scores, and the clock will not turn back."

He stressed that "the stability of Iraq means the stability of the region, and chaos in Iraq means its expansion in the region, and no one wants that," noting that "dragging problems inside Iraq or creating them in a province here or there, or involving Iraq with problems abroad is totally and completely rejected.”

He stated, "Involving Iraq in this critical circumstance in any similar confrontations, whether internal or external, does not benefit but rather harms everyone."
